What is the best product to remove fingerprints from records? I’d be using it as a spot cleaner before I would put it through a record cleaning machine. Thanks, E.
Fingerprints contain lipid oils and traces of fats that can create a micro-etching effect on the record surface (if left for long periods of time). With your cleaning regimen, I recommend the use of LAST Power Cleaner prior to the use of the record cleaning machine. The combination should provide a chemically clean surface at the end of the process.Good Luck with the project!
