We designed these custom LAST Microfiber Applicators to dust, clean and preserve vinyl records, shellac 78’s and even 45’s. Besides being used for manual cleaning and treating, they are very effective with vacuum record cleaning machines as well.
The narrow Swiss velvet active edge moistens with only three drops of our cleaning solutions for picking up dust and dirt particles, while also killing static. Unlike the huge blocks with wide ribbons, you use much less fluid to get clean. That thin velvet strip also means record cleaning takes much less pressure, making them safe for use on your turntable. The ribbon is a direct molded bond to the handle, so there are no adhesives to contaminate your record. The white and yellow ribbons make it easy to see when contamination is picked up, and the applicator is easy to brush or rinse clean.
